Configuring individual extensions

To configure call recording setting on an individual user basis, select the extension from the extensions page, right-click and select edit, and then the advanced Tab.

Recording options are as follows

Option

Behaviour

On Demand

Call recording can be toggled by dialing *1 during a call.

Enabled

Both calls initiated and calls received will be recorded

Disabled

No calls will be recorded

Inbound Only

Only received calls will be recorded

Outbound Only

Only calls initiated by the extension will be recorded.

Call recording can be configured on multiple extensions simultaneously by selecting multiple extensions before editing.

Note: In order for the caller or the recipient of the call to initiate on-demand call recording, the general dial command options need to include “w” and / or “W”.

Note: Disabling voicemail on an extension will also disable call recording.
