Callers can be placed in a parking with a time out associated, after which the caller is transferred to the specified destination. This allows receptionist, for example, to place a caller on hold while waiting for their desired extension to become available. The caller in the parking lot would then, after the parked timeout, automatically ring reception again, by which time the desired extension might have freed up.
To transfer a call to the parking lot, use a transfer feature and dial extension 70. The allocated slot will be announced. To retrieve the call, dial the slot number.
|Parking Lot Extension||The extension to transfer calls to in order to park them (the default extension number is 70)|
|Parking Lot Name||Provide a Descriptive Title for this Parking Lot|
|Parking Lot Starting Position||If set to Yes, the announcements will tell the caller their position in the queue.|
|Announce Hold time||The starting position of the parking lot|
|Number of Slots||The total number of parking lot spaces to configure. Example, if 70 is the extension and 8 slots are configured, the parking slots will be 71-78. Users can transfer a call directly into a parking slot.|
|Slot range||The Slot range is auto generated|
|Parking timeout||The number of seconds after which the call is removed from the parking bay. The call is then transferred back to the extension from which the call was transferred into the parking bay.|
|Parked Music on Hold||This is the music class that will be played to a parked call while in the parking lot UNLESS the call flow prior to parking the call explicitly set a different music class, such as if the call came in through a queue or ring group.|
|Find Slot||Next: If you want the parking lot to seek the next sequential parking slot relative to the the last parked call instead of seeking the first available slot.
First: Use the first parking lot slot available

Additional information to be added to the call when the call is transferred to the destination for orphaned calls. Phones supporting SIP Alert information could then inform the user receiving an orphaned call of the call’s orphaned status by displaying a message or playing a different ring-tone.
|Ringer Volume Override||Override the ringer volume. Note: This is only valid for Sangoma phones at this time|
|Caller ID Prepend||Additional information to be prepended to the CID when the call is transferred to the destination for orphaned calls. This allows a user receiving an orphaned call to be informed of the call’s orphaned status.|
|Auto Caller ID Prepend||These options will be appended after CallerID Prepend if set. Otherwise they will appear first. The automatic options are as follows:
Slot: Parking lot they were parked on
|Announcement||An announcement to be played to the caller in the parking lot when the call is flagged as orphaned, before transferring the call to the orphaned call destination.|
|Come Back to Origin||Where to send a parked call that has timed out. If set to yes then the parked call will be sent back to the originating device that sent the call to this parking lot. If the origin is busy then we will send the call to the Destination selected below. If set to no then we will send the call directly to the destination selected below|
|Destination||The failover destination for calls that become orphaned.|
