Music on hold

The Music on hold feature allows for the upload of audio files (e.g. music, announcements, advertisements, informationals, etc.) Supported upload formats are: WAV, aiff, alaw, flac, g722, gsm, mp3, oga, ogg, sln, sln12, sln16, sln192, sln24, sln32, sln44, sln48, sln96, ulaw, wav, wav16. This includes archives (that include multiple files) and multiple files for playback to users when calls are on hold.

Music may be categorized and music from a specific category played for specific contexts, e.b. when a user is waiting in a support queue.

Category Name

Category name for this Music on Hold category.

The category name will be converted to ASCII if any UTF8 characters are found


Type of Music on Hold. If set to “Files” then this category will play the files listed below. If set to “Custom Application” then this category will stream music from the set application
